Rhude Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: Five Colourways, One Loupe, and a Print Edge That Held

We ordered SKU 7718845670 and put five of its roughly 45 colourways on the bench. The combed-cotton body and the ink both held up; the bottom hem, not the chest, decided our sizing.

Suitable for
You want a loose, mid-sleeve lettering tee at a low price and will measure a shirt you already own before choosing a size.
Consider alternatives
You want a standard, true-to-size body or a trim fit, or you will not compare chest, shoulder and hem numbers before ordering.
Research record
We ordered the Rhude multicolor T-shirt collection through an open agent, photographed the parcel before opening it, and worked through five of the roughly 45 colourways attached to SKU 7718845670: RH236 black, RH204 white, RH203 apricot-green, RH221 apricot and RH218 black. The listed price at the time of ordering was $8.36 USD against a struck-through $9.20, and the item showed in stock. No authentic Rhude tee sat on our bench for this order, so the comparison below runs against Rhude's own published tee chart and against our measurements of the shirts that landed.
The angle we chose for this review is the print itself, because that is where a low-priced graphic tee is usually won or lost. Four of our five colourways showed a clean ink edge at 10x magnification; one showed a faint halo. All five carried a fabric density inside the listing's stated band. What none of them carried was a size chart worth trusting in isolation, and that is the part a buyer has to solve before ordering.
What the bench measured
Every tee was weighed for fabric density, seam-gauged at the bottom hem and shoulder, and inspected at 10x with a USB microscope. The listing states a weight band of 180 g to under 250 g for the fabric and a measurement tolerance of 1–3 cm on the garment. Our readings sit inside the weight band but spread widely enough to feel different in hand.
| Option code | Body colour | Measured fabric density | Ink edge at 10x | Bottom hem, flat (size M) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| RH236 | Black | 214 g/m² | Sharp, ~0.3 mm ink step | 50.0 cm |
| RH204 | White | 208 g/m² | Slight halo on the lettering | 49.5 cm |
| RH203 | Apricot-green | 226 g/m² | Sharp | 50.0 cm |
| RH221 | Apricot | 197 g/m² | Sharp, thinnest ink layer | 49.0 cm |
| RH218 | Black | 221 g/m² | Sharp | 50.5 cm |
The 29 g/m² spread between the lightest and heaviest shirt is the reason we would not order this collection expecting one consistent hand. It is not a defect — the whole run sits inside what the listing promises — but a 197 g apricot tee and a 226 g apricot-green tee do not drape the same way, and the difference is visible in the fold line at the shoulder.
Print and construction
The spec sheet calls the process print/dye and names the print theme as a colour-world graphic treatment, and the images match: lettering, abstract shapes and geometric motifs across the front. Under the microscope the better examples show a defined step where ink meets cotton rather than a feathered edge, which is a good sign for adhesion. The white body printed slightly softer than the black ones, and that is the colourway we would watch most closely over a season of wearing.
Construction otherwise matches the listing's words: pullover, crew neck, no hood, regular sleeve type, standard thickness. The neck ribbing is firm rather than floppy, and the shoulder seam sits where a loose cut should put it. The listing's descriptive text calls the tee short-sleeved while its own spec field describes the sleeve as mid-length or half-length, so the sleeve finishes nearer the elbow than a standard tee. Check the product images rather than the headline if sleeve length matters to you.
Washing and shrinkage
We laundered the two black colourways twice at 30°C, inside out and line dried. The ink edge looked unchanged at 10x after both cycles, with no cracking along the lettering, and the bottom hem measured within half a centimetre of its original width. That is a small enough movement that it sits comfortably inside the listed 1–3 cm tolerance, but it means a hem that is already snug when new will not loosen with washing.
Sizing: the hem is the decision
Here the evidence is genuinely mixed and we are not going to smooth it over. Buyer discussion of Rhude tees generally describes a boxy, slightly long body and advises sizing down once if you dislike extra length. Rhude's published tee chart backs up the unusual proportions, listing a shoulder of roughly 58 cm for size M and L against a pit-to-pit of 58 cm and 61 cm — very wide shoulders relative to the chest, which is the opposite of a standard tee block.
Can I wear from the rhude tees a XL size, because it's a boxy fit. Normally I wear medium, but that size was too small on the bottom.
That report is the one that stayed with us. A medium wearer needing an XL, and finding smaller sizes tight at the bottom hem despite the loose overall cut, tells us the hem is the binding constraint rather than the chest. Two other buyers advise sizing down for length. Those two positions cannot both be right for one body type, which is exactly why the answer is measurement rather than a rule of thumb.
Our advice is narrow and practical: measure a tee you already like across the chest, the shoulders and the bottom hem, compare those three numbers to the size you are considering, and remember the stated 1–3 cm tolerance. If you wear your shirts boxy and long, the collection will suit you. If you want a trim, true-to-size body, this is not that product.
What the colour codes hide
Roughly 45 option codes hang off this single SKU, mixing black, white and apricot bodies with prints that range from simple lettering to combination colour blocks. Because weight, ink softness and hem width all moved between the five we handled, the code is the specification. Ordering "the Rhude tee" is not a thing you can do here; ordering RH218 is.
At $8.36 the maths is easy. The risk is not build quality — ours was better than the price implies — it is picking a code and a size blind. Read the images for the exact colourway, measure before you commit, and treat the sleeve description in the listing as the one field most likely to surprise you.

How we tested
Five colourways of SKU 7718845670 went on the bench: each weighed for fabric density, seam-gauged at hem and shoulder, and inspected at 10x for ink step and halo. Two black variants ran through two 30°C washes. These are garment measurements only and exclude the listing's stated 1–3 cm tolerance.
Does the print crack or lift after washing?
We washed two black colourways twice at 30°C, inside out and line dried. The ink edge stayed intact at 10x with no cracking along the lettering, and the hem measured within half a centimetre of its original width.
How many colourways does this listing actually offer?
Roughly 45 option codes attach to SKU 7718845670, mixing black, white and apricot bodies with lettering, abstract and geometric prints. Stock and photography vary by code, so match the exact code you want before ordering.
Do all the colourways weigh the same?
No. Our five bench readings spanned 197 to 226 g/m², inside the listing's stated 180–250 g band but far enough apart to feel different in hand. Treat the weight as a range rather than a fixed specification.
Editor verdict
Five colourways of SKU 7718845670 arrived denser and cleaner-printed than $8.36 suggests, and the ink survived two washes. Blind sizing, not build quality, is the real risk.
